Aim of training
To instruct the personnel to meet aircrafts in accordance with ICAO and IATA requirements.

Designed for
Airport personnel involved in aircraft marshalling in accordance with ICAO and IATA requirements.

Course content

  • Safety management system, its goals and objectives
  • Safety requirements and individual safety aids
  • Aircraft hazard areas
  • Technical inspection of equipment, F.O.D. check, inspection of the aircraft upon arrival
  • Aircraft marshalling signals
  • Actions in the event of emergency
  • Teamwork
  • Reasons for inserting wheel chocks, correct placement of wheel chocks, appropriate placement of safety cones
  • Additional signallers
  • Connection of ground power unit to the aircraft
  • Communication with the aircraft crew
  • Aircraft stopping guidance
  • Engine numbering

Benefits
On completion of this course the personnel will be able to independently receive aircrafts in accordance with ICAO and IATA requirements.
After a successfully passed test the trainees will receive a certificate with a validity term of 2 years.

Course duration
17 hours, including the knowledge assessment test and practical training.
