Aim of training
To provide instruction on the general aviation security requirements to the personnel working in the security restricted areas of Riga International Airport, according to Regulations (EC) No 300/2008 and No 185/2010.

Any individual who needs to enter the restricted area of Riga International Airport to perform some work assignment.
Course content
- General aviation security procedures, their legal basis, goals and objectives
- Understanding threats in civil aviation and responsibility of the personnel for security at the airport
- Access control measures and regulations at the airport
- Restricted access areas and objects
- Action when receiving a threat call, noticing suspicious individuals or activities.

The successfully accomplished training is one of the conditions to receive the individual access pass to Riga International Airport.
Course duration
4 hours, including the knowledge assessment test.
