TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1 Controller of personal data processing for the lottery: SJSC Riga International Airport, company registration No 40003028055, legal address/contact information: Riga Airport 10/1, Mārupes nov., LV-1053, Latvia
1.2 Organiser of the lottery is SIA “MEDIJU TILTS”, company registration No 40003291780, legal address: Riga, Dzirnavu iela 3-8, LV-1010, Latvia.
1.3 The lottery shall take place in the terminal of Riga International Airport.
1.4 The lottery shall take place from 26 June 2018 to 1 October 2018 (including).

2. PRIZE FUND:
2.1 The prize fund of the lottery is comprised of 18 prizes.
2.2 The total amount of the lottery prize fund is EUR 4847.68 (VAT included) (four thousand eight hundred forty-seven euros and sixty-eight cents).
2.3 Lottery prizes:

Conditions regarding the round trip to Almati with airBaltic in Business Class for 2 persons:
• The gift certificate is valid until 30 April 2019 which is also the last possible travel date.
• The gift certificate may be used as means of payment in exchange for airBaltic flight tickets at least 7 (seven) days before the selected departure date. The certificate cannot be sold to any other person and it is non-refundable.
• The change of dates or time of the flight shall be permissible for a fee of EUR 50 one-way and said changes must be requested prior the planned departure. The change of the name shall not be allowed. The ticket includes two check-in bags (up to 20 kg) for one passenger. The tickets are non-refundable. Other special regulations may apply.

Riga Airport VIP Centre gift card is valid for a natural or legal person to use 1 VIP service procedure travelling one way. The validity period of the gift card shall be until 2 April 2019.
2.4 The total number of participants is not known beforehand, but it is expected for 10,000 (ten thousand) participants to take part in the lottery. Estimated chances of participants to win the lottery are 18:10,000.

3. PROCEDURE OF THE LOTTERY AND PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS:
3.1 In order to participate in the lottery, the participant (Riga Airport passenger) shall arrive at the Airport security checkpoint at least 1.5 h prior to the departure of his/her flight within the period from 26 June 2018 to 30 September 2018 (including).
3.2 The participant, who has arrived at least 1.5 h prior to his/her flight, shall take a lottery application form placed on specially designed stands (lottery boxes) and provide the following information in the form;
NAME, SURNAME, MOBILE PHONE NUMBER, E-MAIL or ADDRESS, AGE, DESTINATION, FLIGHT DATE, FLIGHT NUMBER.
3.3 Completed form should be immediately dropped into said lottery stand (lottery box) situated behind the Airport’s security controls area.
3.4 One participant may apply for the lottery several times by taking other flights from Riga Airport and receiving and filling out new lottery application forms.
3.5 Forms filled out with unclear, incorrect or incomplete information shall not be used in the lottery.
3.6 By participating in the lottery, the participant shall consent to the use of his/her personal data for the needs of the lottery organisation.
3.7 By participating in the lottery, the lottery participant shall automatically consent that his/her personal data (name, surname) is used to announce the lottery prize in case of winning the prize.
3.8 In order to participate in the lottery, the participant has to register as specified in Clause 3 by filling out an application form 1.5 h prior to the flight.
3.9 Employees of SJSC Riga International Airport may not participate in the lottery. If it is found that employees of Riga Airport have filled out the application forms and dropped them in the lottery box, their forms will be removed and they will not be participating in the lottery.

4. PROCEDURE OF PRIZE DRAW:
4.1 Winners of the lottery prizes shall be determined in 18 (eighteen) draws.
4.2 The winners shall be determined at random by picking the winner’s lottery form from the filled out forms by hand.
4.3 Prize winners shall be determined every week and every month on specific lottery dates during the entire lottery period and at the final big draw:
First weekly draw – 2 July, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 26 June to 1 July.
Second weekly draw – 10 July, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 2 to 8 July.
Third weekly draw – 16 July, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 9 to 15 July.
Fourth weekly draw – 23 July, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 16 to 22 July.
Fifth weekly draw – 30 July, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 23 July to 29 July.
Sixth weekly draw – 6 August, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 30 July 5 August.
Seventh weekly draw – 13 August, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 6 to 12 August.
Eighth weekly draw – 20 August, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 13 to 19 August.
Ninth weekly draw – 27 August, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 20 to 26 August.
Tenth weekly draw – 3 September, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 27 August to 2 September.
Eleventh weekly draw – 10 September, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 3 to 9 September.
Twelfth weekly draw – 17 September, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 10 to 16 September.
Thirteenth weekly draw – 24 September, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 17 to 23 September.
Fourteenth weekly draw – 1 October, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 24 to 30 September.
First monthly draw – 6 August, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 26 June to 31 July.
Second monthly draw – 3 September, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 1 August to 2 September.
Third monthly draw – 1 October, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 3 to 30 September.
Big draw – 1 October, which will include participants who have filled out application forms from 26 June to 30 September, except for those who have already won in the weekly or monthly draws.
4.4 All draws shall take place at Riga International Airport on the specified draw dates at 11.00. Address: Riga Airport 10/1, Mārupes novads.
4.5 During the draw, 1 (one) winner shall be determined for each prize.
4.6 A lottery committee consisting of 3 (three) SJSC Riga International Airport representatives shall participate in the determination of a lottery winner. During the determination of the big draw’s winner, the lottery committee will additionally include 1 (one) SIA “Riga Airport Commercial Department” representative and 1 (one) JSC Air Baltic Corporation representative.
4.7 The lottery committee shall approve the results of the lottery draw and prepare a report on the determination of winners, which includes the name, legal address and registration number of the holder of the lottery permit, lottery name, place and date of the determination of the winner, persons that participate in the determination of winners, name of the prize, and name and surname of the winner.
4.8 Winners of each draw shall be published on www.riga-aiport.com (News section) and on the Airport’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. The complete list of winners shall be available on 1 October 2018.
4.9 The lottery organiser shall contact the winners by calling to the telephone number specified by the lottery participant within 3 business days and agree upon details of receiving the prize.

5. PRIZE RECEIPT:
5.1 In order to receive the prize, the lottery winner must present a personal identification document with the aim to identify the winner of the specific draw and sign an acceptance certificate indicating the winner’s name, surname, personal identity number, address, and the name of the prize.
5.2 If the lottery winner is a minor, he/she may be able to receive the prize by arriving together with his/her legal representative.
5.2 The winners of the lottery may receive their prizes by 15 October 2018.
5.3 The prizes can be received at the address; Riga Airport 10/1, Mārupes novads, in the Head Office Building.
5.4 If the persons who have won lottery prizes do not arrive to receive their prize at the set time and place, the lottery organiser is entitled to cancel the prize and keep it at its disposal, and individually decide on further use of the prize.
5.5 If the person who has won is not a resident of Latvia, the prize shall be sent to him/her by courier mail. A courier mail receipt signed by the winner shall be deemed as an acceptance certificate and used as a document of confirmation that the prize has been received. The courier mail expenses shall be covered by Riga International Airport.
5.6 The lottery prize cannot be received in any other form or in cash.
5.7 Any additional expenses related to the receipt of the prize, which are not specified in these terms and conditions, for instance, transport costs, shall not be covered.

6. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION AND CONSIDERATION OF CLAIMS:
6.1 Lottery participants have the right to make claims regarding the organisation of the lottery by 15 October 2018 by submitting a written application to SJSC Riga International Airport. Address: Riga Airport 10/1, Mārupes novads, LV-1053, Latvia. All claims shall be reviewed and a reply shall be provided to the lottery participant within 30 calendar days from the day of receipt of the written application.

7. PROCESSING AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
7.1 The processing of personal data is carried out with the aim to ensure the organisation of the lottery and the sending of commercial offers to participants if they have given their consent thereto. The organiser of the lottery is the Controller of personal data processing of natural persons and shall be responsible for personal data protection in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations.
7.2 By carrying out personal data processing of natural persons who are participants of the lottery, the organiser of the lottery shall undertake:
7.2.1 to ensure that persons who are not related to the organisation and administration of the lottery cannot access lottery forms containing personal data with the exception of cases when the form allows the sending of commercial offers that the participant has given their consent thereto. Only employees of the lottery organiser whose responsibilities are directly related to the organising of this lottery and representatives referred to in Clauses 4.6 and 7.6 of these terms and conditions may access personal data.
7.2.2 Personal data that were collected for the needs of lottery organisation shall be stored for 5 years in accordance with the requirements on the storing of lottery documents stipulated in the Law On Lotteries of Goods and Services (Cabinet Regulation No. 16 “Procedures for Supervision and Control of Organising of Lotteries of Goods and Services” (that are issued in accordance with Section 21 of the Law on Lotteries of Goods and Services)). After the end of the aforementioned period, the lottery organiser shall destroy all the information at their disposal containing personal data related to this lottery.
7.2.3 to ensure that the employees of the lottery organiser who are authorised to process personal data are committed to ensure confidentiality.
7.2.4 to implement all reasonable measures necessary for secure data processing.
7.3 All complaints and claims of natural persons, and information requests of state institutions and agencies regarding data processing, storing and disclosing within the framework of the lottery shall be reviewed by the lottery organiser.
7.4 By participating in the lottery, you are giving your consent that the provided personal data shall be used to ensure the organising of the lottery; in case of winning the prize, your personal data (name, surname) shall be used to announce the lottery prize on www.riga-aiport.com (News section), the Airport’s Facebook and Twitter accounts) as well as the lottery organiser shall contact you by calling to the mobile phone number provided by you). When receiving the prize, you shall present a personal identification document with the aim to identify you as the winner of the specific draw and sign an acceptance certificate indicating your name, surname, personal identity number, address, and the name of the prize.
7.5 Recipients of personal data: Employees of the lottery organiser whose responsibilities are directly related to the organising of the lottery; lottery committee consisting of 3 (three) SJSC Riga International Airport representatives; during the determination of the big draw’s winner, the lottery committee will additionally include 1 (one) SIA “Riga Airport Commercial Department” representative and 1 (one) JSC Air Baltic Corporation representative, law enforcement and control institutions.
7.6 Information containing personal data may be processed for longer period of time for the realisation of the legitimate interests of the Controller (for example, to provide evidence that personal data processing has been carried out in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations in case of disputes).
7.7 Your rights:
7.7.1 to request from the Controller access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data of data subject or to object to the processing of data, as well as to exercise the right to data portability;
7.7.2 If the processing of personal data is based on person’s consent, it may be withdrawn by sending information to the following e-mail address: pr@riga-airport.com; In case of the withdrawal of the consent, the processing of personal data carried out before the withdrawal shall not be affected as it was based on consent given by the person prior the withdrawal.
7.7.3 to file a complaint to the Data State Inspectorate if the processing of personal data has been carried out unlawfully.

8. SPECIAL REMARKS:
8.1 The rights and obligations of the lottery organiser and lottery participants are determined in these lottery terms and conditions only. Any information available in advertising materials is for information purposes only.
8.2 A full text of lottery terms and conditions can be found on the home page of Riga International Airport www.riga-airport.com.
8.3 Lottery participants do not have the right to submit any complaints regarding the receipt of the prize, expenses of its receipt or use. Lottery participants may submit complaints regarding the quality of the provided service or goods ensured by the prize provider to the provider of the relevant service pursuant to the procedure stipulated in laws and regulations.
8.4 The lottery organisers shall not be responsible for exclusion of the lottery participants from the lottery, as well as for withholding of the prize in cases, when the lottery conditions are not complied with, or the information provided by the lottery participants is untrue, inaccurate or illegible, or if the lottery winner cannot be contacted due to reasons beyond the control of the lottery organisers.
8.5 The lottery organiser has the right to unilaterally stop the lottery and distribution of the prizes if force majeure circumstances occur that the lottery organiser could not have foreseen or prevented. Force majeure shall include war, natural disaster and general strike.
8.6 The organiser shall not undertake any additional expenses that may be related to the use of the prize.
8.7 No additional expenses are planned for the lottery participants in relation to the participation in the lottery.
