Due to the increased safety requirements at SJSC RIGA International Airport and its efforts is to ensure safe and qualitative services to the passengers, any commercial or non-commercial activities involving filming, taking photos and conducting surveys at the airport and its territory have to be agreed with the responsible airport personnel.
Video & Photo
For non-commercial needs, filming and taking photos have to be authorized at latest 3 days prior by the Communication department. For news materials, the arrangements have to be made with the Communication department. The permission can be issued on the same day.
For commercial needs (when the filmed and photographic materials are expected to bring profit) filming and taking photos have to be authorized by the Communication department at latest 5 days in advance by electronically filling the application form and require a contract about commercial filming and photo taking in the territory of the airport. A written application is necessary, if the filming or photo taking is performed by a group of three persons and more.
If any of the abovementioned actions takes places in the territory of the airport without a prior coordination then the Airport Security Service is entitled to prohibit performing these uncoordinated actions.

Questionnaires
Any kinds of surveys and questionnaires at the airport have to be agreed at least 3 days prior with the Communication department by filling the electronic application form. By filling the form you agree to the condition to provide the obtained results of the survey or questionnaire to the Communication department within 15 working days after the completion of the survey or questionnaire. If necessary, you can request another date for submission of the results of the survey or questionnaire.
