Complex Solutions for Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions at Riga International Airport


 

SJSC Riga International Airport on 30 June 2014 signed an agreement with the Ministry of Environment Protection and Regional Development of Latvia and with the company SIA „Vides investīciju fonds” on the implementation of the project „Complex Solutions for Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions at Riga International Airport” (Registration No KPFI-15.3/147).

 


The project goal is to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions at SJSC Riga International Airport by replacing the existing lighting fixtures with energy effective LED lights at the airport’s head office and terminal.

The project implementation term: from July 2014 to January 2015.

Total project costs: EUR 892 793.99, of which attributable costs are EUR 587344.17. The co-financing from the CCFI constitutes 45% of the attributable project costs, amounting to EUR 264304.87. The remaining part of the project costs is financed by SJSC Riga International Airport.
