Attention! Until April 6  only essential travel to Latvia is permitted. Passengers can enter Latvia by air only if they present a negative Covid-19 PCR test, which has been taken no more than 72 hours before boarding the aircraft to Latvia! Before entering Latvia or travelling in transit, fill in the e-confirmation on! Regular flights to/from non-European countries that are not on the European Commission's list of safe countries, are not permitted. Those who have arrived from the countries, for which the cumulative number of COVID-19 exceeds 50, must self-isolate for 10 days upon arrival in Latvia even if the Covid-19 test result is negative. Trip to and from the airport




Persons with reduced mobility can get from the city centre to the Airport and back by city bus No. 22, which is wheelchair accessible.

Coming from the city centre to the Airport: the final stop is directly in front of the terminal check-in hall. When going back to the city: the passenger pick-up point is located opposite the terminal building, right behind car park P1.

A short-term car park for people with special needs is located opposite the departure terminal’s check-in hall and is marked with a special sign.

There are also two paid car parks P1 (short-term) and P3 (long-term) available for PRM passengers. These car parks are equipped with special parking spaces for persons with special needs.



There are two call points at the Airport where it is possible to apply for a PRM Assistance and inform the PRM Assistance Team on the arrival of the passenger at the Airport.

In short-term car park P1, the call point is located between the exits of arrival halls C and E at the lift, opposite the taxi stop. 

In long-term car park P3, the call point is located at the entrance to the car park, next to the operator’s office.
