Attention! From 11 to 25 February, only essential travel to Latvia is permitted; passenger transportation to and from the United Kingdom, Ireland and Portugal is suspended.Passengers can enter Latvia by air only if they present a negative Covid-19 PCR test, which has been taken no more than 72 hours before boarding the aircraft to Latvia! Regular flights to/from non-European countries that are not on the European Commission's list of safe countries, are not permitted. Those who have arrived from the countries, for which the cumulative number of COVID-19 exceeds 50, must self-isolate for 10 days upon arrival in Latvia even if the Covid-19 test result is negative. The list of countries is published on www.spkc.gov.lv.

airBaltic to Launch Riga – Almaty

The Latvian airline airBaltic will launch a new summer seasonal route between Riga and Almaty in Kazakhstan on April 29, 2018. The new route will offer new convenient travel options for travellers from the Baltics and Kazakhstan to airBaltic network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia and the Middle East.
