On Monday, 1 July, Riga Airport launches a lottery „Don’t miss your lucky chance – come to the airport earlier!” to make the summer travel season even more pleasant for passengers.

The lottery participants will have the opportunity to win a gift voucher for EUR 1100, two air tickets for a return flight to any of the destinations serviced by the airline airBaltic, the privilege cards of Riga International Airport’s RIX Club and other valuable gifts. The lottery draws will take place every week until 8 October with the first draw scheduled for 8 July.

In order to take part in the lottery, a passenger must arrive at the airport’s security checkpoint at least 1.5 hours prior to the departure of his/her flight, pick up an application form, complete it and drop it into a special box behind the airport’s security control area.

The lottery is arranged jointly with A/S Air Baltic Corporation and ATU DUTY FREE. The number of the lottery licence is 3323, and its rules are available on the airport’s website www.riga-airport.com in the section Passengers.

Riga International Airport reminds you that in summer, at the height of the travel season, the passengers are requested to arrive at the airport two hours prior to their scheduled flight in order to settle the necessary formalities.

Riga International Airport is the leading air traffic hub of the Baltic countries. In the summer season it is possible to travel to 81 destinations from Riga Airport, with flights operated by 19 carriers: airBaltic, Ryanair, Wizz Air, LOT, Lufthansa, Transaero, Turkish Airlines, Uzbekistan Airways, UTair, Norwegian, Aeroflot, Belavia, Finnair, AMC Airlines, Onur Air, Iberia Express, Bulgarian Air Charter, Astra Airlines, SmartLynx.
