The bronze medalists of Sochi Olympic Winter Games welcomed home!
Saturday,15 February, Riga Airport was receiving fans, well-wishers and press representatives who had come to participate in a welcome ceremony of the home-coming Olympic athletes. Luge doubles Andris and Juris Šics won a bronze medal at Sochi Olympic Games – Latvia’s first medal in these Games. The next bronze medal on 13 February was obtained for Latvia in luge relay by the Latvian luge athletes Elīza Tīruma, Mārtiņš Rubenis and the doubles pairing - Andris un Juris Šics. Riga Airport extends a hearty welcome to our olympics!
