Flights to Aberdeen opened from Riga International Airport

As from March 30, Latvian national airline airBaltic started flights from Riga International Airport to the city of Aberdeen in Great Britain.

airBaltic will perform flights from Riga to Aberdeen four times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The airline will offer its passengers to fly with a Boeing 737 aircraft and the flight will last for two hours and forty minutes.  

“We are gratified that the national airline keeps offering flights to new destinations. I am convinced that the new route will provide additional possibilities to the enterprises of both countries, as well as will promote tourism development by allowing travellers to get acquainted with exciting nature and history of Latvia and Riga, as well as Scotland,” emphasized by Aldis Mūrnieks, Chairman of the Board of the Riga International Airport.

Riga International Airport is the leading airport in the Baltic States. In summer season passengers are able to travel from Riga International Airport to 83 destinations, the flights to which are performed by the following airlines: airBaltic, Ryanair, WizzAir, Aerflot, Lufthansa, Norwegian, Finnair, Uzbekistan Airways, LOT, Utair, Transaero, Belavia, Turkish Airlines, Onur Air, Utair Ukraine, Ellinair, SmartLynx.
