More Comfort for the Little Passengers at Riga Airport

01/02/2017

Since 22 October, at Riga International Airport baby pushchairs are available for use at the airport terminal as an additional convenience for the little passengers and their parents.

“We have introduced this new service considering the passengers’ interest to use pushchairs at Riga Airport and the experience of other airports in providing this service. The goal of the project is to accentuate the image of the airport as a family-friendly place, to care for our customers, promote their loyalty, to support families with small children and respond to the babies’ needs,” said Sarmīte Rinmane, head of the airport’s Communication Team.

Currently at the airport in cooperation with the companies Chicco and JC Decaux Latvija six baby pushchairs are available free of charge. In future, depending on demand, the number of pushchairs can be increased.

Riga International Airport is the biggest air traffic hub in the Baltic countries offering travellers 89 destinations, serviced by 20 airlines.
