New Flights from Riga Airport in the Winter Season

As of Sunday, 25 October, a winter flight schedule will set in at Riga International Airport. Several airlines will mark the occasion with increasing the number of flights to various destinations and opening a number of new routes.
 
Starting from 26 December, airBaltic will operate flights once a week to Verona (Italy) and Salzburg (Austria).

The airline Aeroflot from 25 October will fly more frequently to Moscow (Sheremetyevo) – from 21 to 28 flights per week. The budget airline Wizz Air will double its flight number to London (Luton) to 14 flights per week.

From 27 October, the airline Ryanair will open a route to Berlin (Schönefeld) with seven flights per week.

As of 31 October, the carrier Air Cairo will start charter flights once a week to Hurghada and Sharm el sheikh in Egypt.

Overall, in the winter season Riga International Airport will offer flights to 69 destinations operated by  21 airlines: airBaltic, Aeroflot, Air Cairo, Belavia, Brussels Airlines, Corendon Airlines, Finnair, LOT, Lufthansa, Norwegian, Onur Air, Ryanair, Swiss International Air Lines, SAS, Transaero, Turkish Airlines, Turkmenistan Airlines, Utair, Ukraine International Airlines, Uzbekistan Airways, Wizz Air.

Please be reminded that on 25 October, Latvia will put the clocks one hour back and the winter time will set in.
