airBaltic to Launch Direct Flights from Riga to Chisinau

27/04/2009

The Latvian airline airBaltic will launch nonstop flights from Riga to the Moldovan capital city of Chisinau on April 1 of this year.

Initially airBaltic will offer departures to Chisinau three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The flights will be operated by Fokker 50 aircraft and will last for three hours and 10 minutes.

airBaltic first launched flights from Vilnius to Chisinau in September 2007, and that was the first of several routes from Vilnius to destinations to its East.
