Wizz Air starts Tel Aviv flights from Riga

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, started operating its new Tel Aviv service from Riga. The long awaited route will operate all year round twice a week, allowing passengers to travel between Latvia and Israel on very low fares while enjoying excellent onboard service.

With its newest route, WIZZ now offers a total of nine routes to six countries from Latvia.

Seats on Wizz Air’s newest Riga route are available from just EUR 29.99 and can be purchased on wizzair.com.

On the occasion of the new long awaited route, a special cake was made. It was decorated with a basketball ball, symbolising the famous Tel Aviv basketball team - the winner of Euroleague, the highest-level tournament in Europe, and the first European club to win an NBA team.
