“Riga International Airport” offers six new destinations

In October the national airline “AirBaltic” opened two new flights from Riga to Oulu in Finland and Hurghada in Egypt. There will be three flights per week to Oulu and Hurghada. Since October also “Lithuanian Airlines” offers flights from Lithuania to Hurghada three times per week. This airline performs also flights to Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt (once a week) and to Tenerife in the Canary Islands (twice a week).

Beginning with October 30 Ireland’s low cost airline “Ryanair” will take you to East Midlands, but from November 7 to Bristol and November 8 to Shannon. In January 2008 “Ryanair” will open a new flight to Bergamo in Italy and it is planned to perform three flights per week. To East Midlands and Bristol airline will perform three flights per week, but to Shanon – twice a week.

On December 4 “AirBaltic” will open direct flights to Tashkent in Uzbekistan twice a week. “Uzbekistan Airways” also performs flights to Tashkent once a week.

Regular direct flights in November 2007 connect Riga to 59 cities.
