In the seven months of 2011 passenger traffic at Riga International Airport has increased to almost 3 million exceeding last year’s result for the same period (2 615 696 passengers) by 350 thousand.

Arnis Luhse, Chairman of the Board of Riga International Airport, remarked that thirteen was a lucky number for Riga Airport: „The increase is considerable indeed taking into account the general economic situation.
