Riga Airport supports the employees’’ children starting the new school year

This year, as before, Riga International Airport on the 1st of September – the Knowledge Day – will extend material support to the parents working at the airport on a permanent basis helping them to equip their children for the new school year.

The allowance of Ls 75 in accordance with the collective agreement will be granted to one of the parents working at the airport and raising a child aged five to 18 years.

„The parents will be able to spend the allowance on the school stuff – satchels, textbooks, stationery or clothes. As the employer we are gratified for the opportunity to render help to our employees hoping that in the future their offspring will choose the airport as their workplace,” said Arnis Luhse, Chairman of the Board of Riga International Airport.

This year the allowance will be paid to the children of 356 airport employees in the total amount of Ls 26 700.
