There are certain restrictions on liquids that can be brought on board aircraft: all liquids must be placed in individual containers with a maximum capacity of 100 ml, and these individual containers must be placed in a one clear, closed and re-sealable plastic bag no larger than one litre. This restriction, however, does not apply to PRM passengers, if:
- you have received specific permission from your airline and the Riga Airport;
- you can present an explanatory document (e.g., a doctor’s letter or a prescription) during the security check.
If you have breathing problems and require supplementary oxygen, the airline may provide supplementary oxygen for the duration of the flight. Some airlines charge an additional fee for this service, so make sure to ask before you fly. Airlines are not required to carry oxygen for first aid purposes, but many airlines do.
