From 6:00 a.m., Riga Airport gradually resumes operations in limited capacity, however, we still ask passengers to contact their airlines to specify information about the planned flights, because flights can be cancelled or significantly delayed.

It has been snowing heavily in Latvia for a long time, creating a difficult situation for all modes of transport. Due to passenger and flight safety considerations, a decision was made yesterday evening to close the aerodrome until it can be restored to safe operation.
