Passengers who travel with electric wheelchair or other mobility aid by using air transport shall obligatory declare this service to the airline. Since spring of this year, this is provided by international regulations.
By travelling with standard electric wheelchair or mobility aid, the airline shall provide information, for example, about its type/model, dimensions, weight, accumulator/battery type a.o.
In order to declare the service and to find out precise information about conditions of carriage for electric wheelchair or mobility aid, Riga International Airport invites to communicate with the selected airline.
